People live in places, shocking I know but it`s true and they should also play an important part in your work. After all people can often define a place and how you interact and photograph them. And they play a crucial part in travelphotography.
It´s not easy to define street photography. You can’t fully describe it, but you know it when you see it. Street photography aims to capture people in public places, warts and all. It can involve architecture, landscape, portraiture, black and white, long-exposure and even macro. No other area of photography is so diversified. The public space is an ever-changing environment, and it needs a wide range of themes to capture it.
Architectural Photography (AP) is one of the oldest forms of photography there is. AP is a type of photography that captures the architectural elements of buildings and structures. In AP, you need to focus on composition rules a lot. A building can look stunning but if you don’t know how to fit it in your frame, it might look average in photos.
Architecture photography can involve photos of exteriors as well as interiors. Buildings are multi-faceted – they provide us with places to live and work, but they are also artworks, and of course, some buildings have enormous historical or cultural significance for example The Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
Beautiful landscapes from across the globe, immortalised thanks to beautiful lighting and unique imagery. As you know, nature photography isn’t easy. Most of us get excited when we simply see wildlife or a gorgeous landscape.
